If you decide to enter the therapeutic process with me, I consider it the deepest honor and privilege to accompany you on your healing journey.

The following are policies and procedures and other helpful information...

Questions

If you are interested in scheduling an appointment for yourself or for a dependent, or to ask general questions about therapeutic services and/or classes, you may call 202-230-1075 or write me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Email Consultations

Please do not request therapeutic advice via e-mail; because of the lack of confidentiality and because the context of an ongoing therapeutic relationship is essential to providing effective guidance, I cannot respond to such questions.

Confidentiality

Our communications are kept in the strictest confidence except for the extremely rare event in which I would be required by law to report concerns about danger to self or danger to another.

New Clients

Prior to attending your first appointment, please download and complete the Intake Form and bring it with you.

Workshop Registration

If you would like to attend a class, you may register using the Event Registration Form.

Cancellation

Once psychotherapeutic work is underway, if you need to cancel a session, please do so by calling 202-230-1075 a minimum of 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for a missed session. In conditions of inclement weather, we make a decision together about whether to meet or re-schedule and, of course, there is no late cancellation fee.

Payment/Insurance

Payment for sessions is required at the time that services are provided, by check or cash. If you request it, I provide a fee slip at each session for you to submit to your insurance company. While I do not participate with any insurance companies, if you are allowed to see an out-of-network provider, you may receive reimbursement. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company about your benefits, to notify me if any treatment plans are required, and to provide any required forms. I will complete treatment plans at no cost to you, if your insurance company requires that.
